Virtual CEO Round Tables Hosted By The Alternative Board® (TAB) in Boston (Northwest)

No matter what business you are in, your business environment has changed significantly in the past few weeks. I once had a very wise mentor who said, “There are 4 types of people in the world – those who make it happen, those who help make it happen, those who watch it happen, and those who wonder what happened.” As a business owner, President, or CEO, you are typically in the first category… or at least the second. However, if you don’t put a plan in place to deal with our current business environment, you may end up in one of the last two categories.

I am hosting a series of virtual CEO Round tables where business leaders can share best practices in preparing their companies for the short-term, mid-term, and perhaps even the long-term. The meetings will be hosted on Zoom (you do not need a Zoom account to participate) and the format will be facilitated discussion among the participants. The idea is for the business leaders on the call to share what they are doing, to ask questions, and to offer each other advice. No one has all the answers, but collectively we can come up with better answers than we can by ourselves.

The general topic areas include:

  • Employee communications
  • Maintaining safe practices
  • Taking care of customers
  • Appropriate/inappropriate Business Development
  • Managing your supply chain
  • Maintaining business continuity
  • Managing the revenue impact
  • Navigating CARE Act programs
  • Creating opportunity

There is no charge for participating in these discussions – I am offering these forums to give back to the vibrant Greater Boston business community of which I am honored to be a part. Bringing smart business leaders together to share ideas, offer advice, share best practices, and offer each other support is what I do every day and we need more of that during these trying times.

Please join me and other Greater Boston business leaders at one (or more) of the following times (each meeting will be about 1.5 hours):

Just select your preferred times and follow the links above to register and I will send you the Zoom connection link. I look forward to speaking with you and figuring out how we get through this together!

In the best of times having a quality sounding board of peers is vitally important. During times of economic uncertainty, having access to fresh perspectives, expertise and support when you’re facing big decisions is not a luxury — it’s a necessity.   See you soon.
